Community meeting, 4-5 September 2006, London

The first Cross-Scale community meeting was held in London, with the following aims:

  • Inform the space plasma and solar-terrestrial community about Cross-Scale
  • Present the current status of the Cross-Scale concept
  • Discuss how the mission could be changed or improved
  • Plan the preparation of a response to ESA's expected Cosmic Vision Announcement of Opportunity

More than 60 people attended the meeting, from throughout Europe, Japan, China and the US.

We are grateful to PPARC and EADS Astrium: their generous support meant that a registration fee was not required for this meeting.

Presentations available online

A number of presentations given at the meeting are available: see the Documents page.
