March 2007 : Cross-Scale update

Following ESA's Call for Missions on 5 March 2007, we have submitted a Letter of Intent to propose Cross-Scale for the ESA Cosmic Vision 2015-2025 programme. The full proposal is due 29 June 2007.

Session ST8 Coupling between regions and scales: The future is multi-point and multi-instrument at the EGU meeting in Vienna will provide a natural forum in which many of the science objectives will be discussed. The oral session will take place on Thursday, 19th of April; the poster session is on Monday the 16th.

An ongoing Technology Reference Study is being conducted by ESA that is exploring many interesting avenues and options. The relevant background materials, and a status report, are available at: ESA Cross-Scale TRS

What can you do?

1. Register to receive further news
2. Agree to add your name to the proposal by sending an email to Steve Schwartz (s.schwartz@imperial.ac.uk) giving your full name, title, affiliation, and address, and stating explicitly that you wish your name to be included in the proposal.
3. Contribute ideas, science examples, graphics, and other material to the relevant proposal coordinator:
