This is a list of key events related to Cross-Scale.

• April 2004: ESA calls for science themes for Cosmic Vision 2015-2025
• April 2005: Cosmic Vision ESLAB symposium, ESTEC (relevant presentations are available)
• January 2006: Cosmic Vision plan published by ESA: includes discussion of a candidate mission similar to Cross-Scale
• May 2006: Cross-Scale Science Priorities Document (v1.3) released
• May 2006: ESA's Science Payloads and Advanced Concepts Office kicks off Cross-Scale as a Technology Reference Study.
• Summer 2006: the Cross-Scale mission proposal is being prepared in anticipation of an Announcement of Opportunity from ESA for the Cosmic Vision programme.
• 4-5 September 2006: community meeting
• 5 March 2007 Call for Mission Proposals from ESA
• 30 March 2007 Letters of Intent Due at ESA
• 16-20 April 2007 EGU Vienna including ST8 on Coupling...
• 29 June 2007 Proposal due at ESA
• 19 October 2007 Cross-Scale selected to proceed to Assessment Phase
• Late 2009 Down-selection of possible Cosmic-Vision missions
• 2017/2018 Launch
